[VIDEO] Baltimore Mayor Proud She Allowed Rioters to Destroy Property, Attack Police

On Sunday the mayor of Baltimore, Maryland told the media how thrilled she was that she set up areas for the rioters to destroy whatever they wanted to destroy as they purportedly protested against police brutality over the weekend.

So, that is a duty of the government now? To give protesters an area to destroy instead of trying to stop them from destroying things?

Well, according to Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, that is the new deal

Protests over the death of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody, took a violent turn on Saturday, resulting in dozens of arrests and widespread property damage. During a recent press conference, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake confirmed that the protesters were being given “space” to “destroy.”

“While we tried to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on,” the mayor said of the protesters. “We also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well. And we work very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to deescalate, and that’s what you saw.”

So, that is the new standard?

Would she allow tea party protesters their area to destroy? Not that tea party people would ever destroy anything, mind you, but if one did you can bet Mayor Rawlings-Blake would come down on them like a ton of bricks.
