The good folks at the Illinois blog Lincoln Report were alerted to a strange case of a teacher harassing a student in a high school of a western suburb of Chicago. The teacher was quickly fired after drawing a mean image of a student and writing “Stephen’s ugly ass.”
Lincoln Report notes that as soon as the whole situation blew up the school fired the school teacher who was a substitute. I guess the teacher thought it was “funny,” One would think that in this day and age no teacher would think that is funny.
From Brianna’s facebook page:
My brother came home from school today to show my family this video of not only a student in his class, but THE TEACHER taking time out of the period to make fun of him. This is the video of the class that he has taken with his phone. This video shows that the teacher took time to write the words “Stephen’s ugly ass” on the board for all the students in the class to see. In U-46, they say that they have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for things like this. How can he call himself a teacher?! He is supposed to set the example. The student who started this should have been reprimanded when he started writing this on the board; actions should be taken immediately. I can not believe that something like this could be allowed to take place in a Streamwood High School classroom. This is wrong on so many levels. Please share this, He should not be allowed around children anymore.
Well, there you have it! Sheese.
