Trump Body Slams Moore Challenger: The Last Thing We Need Is A ‘Schumer/Pelosi Puppet’

Despite the fact that it’s no longer politically correct to defend Roy Moore since the accusations against him came out, that hasn’t stopped Republicans from coming to his defense and demanding proof of his guilt before abandoning him. This includes President Trump, who recently tore into Moore’s Democratic opponent Doug Jones.

He accused Jones of being a “Schumer/Pelosi” puppet and said that his election would be a “disaster.”

Trump did what he always does when he wants to talk smack and took to Twitter to diss the Dem.

“The last thing we need in Alabama and the U.S. Senate is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on Crime, WEAK on the Border, Bad for our Military and our great Vets, Bad for our 2nd Amendment, AND WANTS TO RAISES TAXES TO THE SKY,” Trump said. “=Jones would be a disaster!”

Despite the fact that Trump endorsed Luther Strange in the primaries, he admits that supporting the Democrat in the race would be a terrible idea and lead to nothing but trouble.

He also told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House that a liberal taking the seat would be bad news.

“We don’t need a liberal person in there, a Democrat,” he said.

Trump also took on Jones’ record while at the same time refusing to completely rule out a campaign stop where he would throw his support behind Moore.

While many in the GOP have recommended that Moore step aside in the wake of the allegations, he has made it clear that he will see the race through to the end.

Boy, am I glad that I’m not an Alabama voter. I don’t know how I would vote, to be entirely honest, and I would have a hard time even getting myself to the polls. I would absolutely not vote for Jones, but I don’t know if I could bring myself to vote for Moore either. If evidence comes out to prove that he’s guilty of everything these women are claiming, I would not want to be on record as having voted for someone like that. That being said, he has not been pronounced guilty and all of the evidence (a sketchy yearbook that doesn’t actually prove sexual assault) is being kept from analysis by Gloria Allred, so we don’t actually know if he’s guilty.

It’s a difficult situation for sure. How would you vote if you were an Alabama voter? Let us know in the comments!
