HAH! Trump Mocks Protester at Rally: ‘He’s Going Back Home to Mommy’ [VIDEO]

Protesters seem to be popping up again for President Trump. He’s feeling his oats these days and he has now resurrected the trademark snark that he reserves for them. One man was holding a sign that read “Trump/Pence Must Go” and another was holding a Russian flag. Talk about a lack of imagination. You people are boring me to death. The protesters were escorted out of the event, but Trump would have the last word after saying the protester had a weak voice: “Boy, he’s a young one. He’s going back home to mommy.” And more: “Oh is he in trouble … And I’ll bet his mommy voted for us, right?”

I don’t think that Trump cares that much about the protesters, but they do provide him an opportunity to gin up his supporters. He took full advantage of that in Youngstown, Ohio, Tuesday evening. Trump’s speech touched on everything from Abraham Lincoln (who of course he compared himself to) and healthcare. He also took jabs at Jeff Sessions during the speech. This was at the “Make America Great Again” rally.

From the Washington Examiner:

President Trump brought back the “mommy” taunt at a rally Tuesday as a protester was being escorted out of the venue.

The protester, who was reportedly holding a USSR flag, was one of at least two removed by police while the president spoke in a wide-ranging speech that touched on topics like Abraham Lincoln and healthcare.

After commenting on the protester’s “weak voice,” Trump told the crowd at the “Make America Great Again” rally in Youngstown, Ohio, “Boy, he’s a young one. He’s going back home to mommy.”

He added: “Oh is he in trouble … And I’ll bet his mommy voted for us, right?”

Trump repeatedly mocked protesters during his campaign, and sometimes belittled them by bringing up their “mommyin the process.

The mocking of protesters was a staple during Trump’s campaign for President. Looks like he’s using it again as a political weapon. It was effective then and it should be effective now… although not exactly presidential by any means. Lara Trump, wife of the president’s son Eric and seven months pregnant, spoke near the beginning of the event and was also interrupted by these asshats… they were then removed by security to cheers from the majority of the crowd. After two straight interruptions, she quipped, “Anybody else?” Like father, like daughter-in-law.

For the record, no one was arrested, just removed. Youngstown Police officers, working with Mahoning County Sheriff’s deputies, Youngstown State University Police and the Secret Service were all there to provide a safe atmosphere for the rally. All told, four protesters were escorted out of the venue. The first protester was located behind Trump while he was speaking and holding a sign that read “Trump/Pence Must Go.” The man was removed by police as Trump turned on stage and watched the incident. After police removed the man, Trump returned to his podium and said, “Where the hell did he come from?” as the crowd cheered. That fired the base up. One thing is for sure… a Trump rally is never boring.
