Leftist Professors: Reporting on the Ideological Excesses of Leftist Professors Is “Violence”

Keeping your Newspeak Dictionary up to date involves more than striking out words that the Thought Police have arbitrarily declared to be offensive. Other words have their definition changed. For example, the word “violence” can now be defined as “that which must be suppressed.” For example, according to the Thought Police, telling the public about the intellectual excesses of the Thought Police is violence:

In the most recent issue of the Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education, 11 professors signed onto a joint statement condemning the “violence” perpetrated by news outlets that report on higher education, including The College Fix and Campus Reform.

Snarl the nutty professors,

“We know these attacks are only going to grow, and we know we cannot just be in a defensive mode.”

Therefore, they will continue to take the offense against free speech and transparency.

This Thought Police squad is particularly enraged that Campus Reform reported on the ideological depravity of Johnny Eric Williams of Trinity College and the genderless Z Nicolazzo of Northern Illinois University.

As Campus Reform reported, Williams posted on Facebook that first responders to the congressional baseball practice shooting should have let the victims “f***ing die” because they were white. Nicolazzo, meanwhile, has called for a “redistribution of opportunities” away from “white cisgender heterosexual men,” and recently coined the term “compulsory heterogenderism.”

The 11 professors boldly “commit to standing against violence” perpetrated by conservative journalists who let the public know that their likeminded colleagues are malevolent and insane.
