Fiorina was Asked to Name a Woman For the $10 Bill – Her Answer Wasn’t What Many Expected.

Being the sole female GOP presidential candidate, CNN moderator Jake Tapper likely thought she would be a lock for the puff question of which woman should be placed on the $10 bill. But her answer took him, and everyone else, completely by surprise.

Carly Fiorina declined to name a woman she would like to see placed on the $10 bill during Wednesday evening’s Republican presidential debate.

“I wouldn’t change the $10 bill or the $20 bill. I think honestly it’s a gesture. I don’t think it helps to change our history,” the former Hewlett-Packard CEO said.

“What I would think is that we ought to recognize women aren’t a special interest group,” she continued. “Woman are the majority of this nation. We are half the potential of this nation. And this nation will be better off when every woman has the opportunity to live the life she chooses.”

Liberals are obsessed with identity politics, and we all know this — but that doesn’t mean that we should expect Fiorina, or any other woman, to fall into that trap. Fiorina showed with this answer that she’s a strong woman who doesn’t need to be pandered to in order for her to feel significant.
