DC Comics is bringing back Scooby Doo & fans HATE IT. You’ll Understand Why After You See The Pic
A warm welcomed return to any classic cartoon is a moment to share with today’s youngsters, except for this really bad version of Scooby Doo, which is possibly the worst cartoon reboot I’ve seen.
The new series, titled Scooby Apocalypse, is just the latest in DC Comics’ plan to overhaul a number of classic cartoons such as The Flintstones, Jonny Quest and Space Ghost.
Fred has tribal tattoos, but tribal tattoos went out of style in the late 90’s. Fred should’ve been black.
Hipster shaggy is inaccurate because hipsters don’t usually wear baggy clothes, they wear skinny jeans, the same pants that girls wear.
Scooby has a bionic emoji emitting eye, so he probably has an appointment with Professor X and Cyclops of the X-men. Scooby looks terrible like this. He’s a 20-layer-sandwich eating dog, not Robo Cop.
Velma is too smart to use a console video game controller to fight crime; she would use a smart phone. I’m shocked they didn’t make her an obese Asian.
Daphne went from ditz to daring ginger queen; also unbelievable. She would fire the rocket launcher backwards and blow up the Mystery Machine.
Everything that DC Comics introduced for the remake of Scooby Doo is just really stupid and it seems like the people who came up with this nonsense are behind the times and have not ever watched the original. The new version fails to capture the character of the cast while trying too hard to capture a new modern audience, but throwing tattoos and hipster beards on characters doesn’t make it watchable.
I refuse to watch this dreck of a remake.
