Britain Takes Control, They Now Face The Unknown…. [VIDEO]

The Brits have voted to leave the European Union! All of America rejoices with them. As Nigel Farage said, Brexit is a victory for ordinary people. It’s a victory against the big banks, against big business, against big politics and against the elitists. It is Britain’s Independence Day and it is fitting that it happened almost 240 years after ours. Denise Simon said: “Populism and elitism finally lost in Britain… the people have spoken and the battle for independence is long and hard, but ultimately sweet. Citizens are disgusted with being ruled by Belgium.” She’s right. Countries are lining up to leave the EU now. Denmark, Sweden, Austria and Italy are clamoring for it. Now, Britain needs a Brexit government with the exit of Prime Minister David Cameron. This is a day of freedom… a very good day indeed. The Brits are finally free from the EU and getting a small taste of what it is like to be liberated from oppression.

From TheBlaze:

LONDON (AP) — Britain voted to leave the European Union after a bitterly divisive referendum campaign, toppling the British government, sending global markets plunging Friday and shattering the stability of a project in continental unity designed half a century ago to prevent World War III.

The decision launches a yearslong process to renegotiate trade, business and political links between the United Kingdom and what will become a 27-nation bloc, an unprecedented divorce that could take decades to complete.

“The dawn is breaking on an independent United Kingdom,” said Nigel Farage, leader of the U.K. Independence Party. “Let June 23 go down in our history as our independence day!”

The vote was 48% to 52%, with it being swung by a more than 70% turnout. 72% of the more than 46 million registered voters went to the polls. The middle working class decided the outcome… the people in Britain have simply had enough of being crushed by taxes and ruled by basically a dictatorship in Belgium. My friends there are ecstatic. Prime Minister David Cameron, who had led the campaign to keep Britain in the EU, said he would resign by October when his Conservative Party holds its annual conference. He said the next prime minister would decide when to invoke Article 50, which triggers a departure from the European Union. It will take Britain roughly two years to exit. While Greenland left an earlier, more limited version of the bloc in 1985, no country has ever invoked Article 50, so there is no road map for how the process will work. One thing is for sure, the spirits of Winnie Churchill and “Iron” Lady Thatcher smile down on Britain today.
