She Had a Huge Wart on Her Foot That Wouldn’t Go Away… When She Popped It? OMG

Wow. Fascinating and gross at the same time. This woman had a huge wart on her foot and used liquid nitrogen to freeze it. Then she had to get the liquid out of it as it popped. She got assistance and needles were used to drain the large wart. This looks like a blood wart that has scabbed over. It looks painful and just makes you wince. I can’t imagine going through that. It must have been such a relief once it was removed. Unfortunately, they tend to come back. I hope that’s not the case here.

From AWM:

Typically, when you get a wart, one of the most effective ways to remove it is by freezing it. Freezing a wart allows for easy killing an removal of the growth, with a minimal amount of discomfort.

One woman had a particularly large problem on her hands, or rather on her foot.

A video was recently posted showing the removal of what might be the largest wart I have ever seen. The woman froze it with liquid nitrogen, and then needed help to get the fluid out.

A dermatologist was called in on this one and the procedure was done at the woman’s home. Common warts are actually an infection in the top layer of skin, caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus, or HPV, family. When the virus invades this outer layer of skin, usually through a tiny scratch, it causes rapid growth of cells on the outer layer of skin – creating the wart. This is why it is important to keep clean and take care of a cut when it occurs. Scientists have identified more than 100 unique types of the virus. And most people will have at least one common wart at sometime in their lives, usually on their hands. But feet are susceptible too as in this case. This just makes you cringe.
