We’re Getting Dangerously Close To Intifada Territory On Our Southern Border

The hatred of America in Mexico and their bizarre sense of entitlement when it comes to breaking our laws is becoming ever more alarming. First of all, we have this story:

Mexico has slammed the U.S. for its ‘disproportionate use of force’ after a boy of 14 was shot dead by an American Border Patrol officer.

U.S. officials claim the guard was defending himself and his colleagues when he gunned down the teenager on the other side of the border as he and other officers were pelted with stones.

The killing comes less than two weeks after another Mexican migrant, Anastasio Hernandez, 32, died after a U.S. border official shocked him with a stun gun at the San Ysidro border crossing that separates San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. The San Diego medical examiner’s office ruled that death a homicide.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon yesterday demanded an inquiry and said his government ‘will use all resources available to protect the rights of Mexican migrants’.

‘The government reiterates its rejection to the disproportionate use of force on the part on U.S. authorities on the border with Mexico,’ he added.

Preliminary reports on the incident indicated that U.S. officers on bicycle patrol ‘were assaulted with rocks by an unknown number of people,’ Border Patrol Special Operations Supervisor Ramiro Cordero said.

‘During the assault at least one agent discharged his firearm,’ he added. ‘The agent is currently on administrative leave. A thorough, multi-agency investigation is currently ongoing.’

The shooting was beneath a railway bridge linking the two nations.

Last night a banner appeared on the bridge that said in English: ‘U.S. Border Patrol we worry about the violence in Mex and murders and now you. Viva Mexico!’

…Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the Chihuahua state Attorney General’s office, said a spent .40-caliber shell casing was found near the body – raising the question of whether the fatal shot was fired inside Mexico, although he did not explicitly make that allegation.

…A U.S. official, meanwhile, said video shows the Border Patrol agent did not enter Mexico.

The official said the video also shows what seem to be four Mexican law enforcement officers driving to the edge of the dry but muddy bed of the Rio Grande, walking across to the U.S. side, picking up an undetermined object and returning to Mexico near the area where the boy’s body was.

To begin : with, there’s : been some dispute about the border patrol agent’s story, but no one seems to be disputing the fact that they were throwing rocks at him and he shot one of them. Now while I’m genuinely sorry to hear that a 15 year old kid got shot, the fact is, no matter how old you are, if you throw rocks at people with guns, you’re practically begging for a new hole to be painfully introduced to your body.

It’s also extremely disturbing that we apparently have Mexican law enforcement officials literally trying to plant evidence to make it appear as if an American border patrol agent murdered a Mexican citizen on Mexican soil. Is that not reminescent of the sort of fake Palestinian publicity ops we see all:  too:  often in their conflict with Israel?

Additionally, notice what we DON’T SEE. We don’t see anybody from the Mexican side saying their citizens shouldn’t be illegally entering the US. We DON’T SEE anyone saying people shouldn’t be throwing rocks at Border Patrol Agents doing their jobs on the American side of the border.

But wait, it gets worse. Take a look at this,

Pointing their rifles, Mexican security forces chased away U.S. authorities investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican by a U.S. Border Patrol agent on the banks of the Rio Grande, the FBI and witnesses told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The killing of the Mexican by U.S. authorities – the second in less than two weeks – has exposed the distrust between the two countries that lies just below the surface, and has enraged Mexicans who see the death of the boy on Mexican soil as an act of murder.

Shortly after the boy was shot, Mexican soldiers arrived at the scene and pointed their guns at the Border Patrol agents across the riverbank while bystanders screamed insults and hurled rocks and firecrackers, FBI spokeswoman Andrea Simmons said. She said the agents were forced to withdraw.

“It pretty quickly got very intense over on the Mexican side,” she said, adding that FBI agents showed up later and resumed the investigation, even as Mexican authorities pointed guns at them from across the river.

A relative of the dead boy who had been playing with him told the AP that the Mexicans – who he described as federal police, not soldiers – pointed their guns only when the Americans waded into the mud in an apparent attempt to cross into Mexico.

The Mexican authorities accused the Americans of trying to recover evidence from Mexican soil and threatened to kill them if they crossed the border, prompting both sides to draw their guns, said the 16-year-old boy who asked not to be further identified for fear of reprisal.

So, we’ve actually got the Mexican government threatening to murder American police officers and FBI agents. This is commonly referred to as : “an international incident.”

Do you want to know why it’s like this? Honestly?

It’s because Mexico is a rotten neighbor and instead of calling them on it, too many politicians in DC, in both parties, have turned a blind eye to their ridiculous behavior. The Mexican government is encouraging their citizens to break our laws, they’re trying to use their citizens in the US to influence our political process, they’re doing nothing to police their side of the border, and they’re actually trashing Americans for enforcing immigration laws that aren’t as strict as the ones they have in Mexico.

So, what does our government do? We tactfully pretend not to notice. Obama even did a joint press conference with Calderon to attack Arizona. Democrats actually got up and clapped for that mediocre incompetent when he got up on the floor of the House and smacked Arizona around for wanting to keep the violence and insanity that goes on his country out of their state. If the President “Kick Ass” wants to get tough with someone, maybe he should start by getting tough with Mexico and letting them know that their behavior is completely unacceptable.

The longer we let this insanity go on, the worse it’s going to get, and the more violence it’s going to lead to IN AMERICA. We need to stop patting Mexico on the head, treat them as if they were responsible, and let them know that they need us a hell of a lot more than we need them; : so they’d BETTER start acting like good neighbors.
