White Marine Attacked by Racist Black Mike Brown Mob Struggling to Recover from Brain Injury

Former U.S. Marine Ralph Weems suffered traumatic brain damage when he was attacked by a mob of racist, black supporters of Mike Brown, the criminal teen who was killed by a police officer in Missouri last August. The attack occurred late in August in Mississippi and the Marine is still struggling to recover from the beating.

Weems, 32, was attacked and severely beaten in a restaurant parking lot in West Point, Miss. in August. He was set upon by up to a dozen black men who said they were angry about the death of teen criminal Michael Brown in Missouri.

He’s still recovering and will be for some time.

After the attack, Weems had surgery and was put in a medically induced coma. He began treatment at a VA rehabilitation facility in Texas where he learned to walk again and is now set to move to a facility in either Louisiana or Arkansas.

‘He’s physically made a lot of improvements,’ Weems III told the Clarion-Ledger. ‘Traumatic brain injury takes a long time to recover in a lot of ways.’

A Gofundme webpage setup to help pay for his medical expenses has so far received over $9,000, but is hoping to raise $25,000.

Weems and a friend visited a Waffle House in late August, but soon left after a man politely told the pair that the restaurant was not safe for white people.

Good health to Mr. Weems.
