Fox News host Tucker Carlson was primed and ready to attack MSNBC as well as one of their most obnoxious and embarrassing hosts, Rachel Maddow, on his show Friday. It was Maddow who went on blasting and blaming the socialist collapse and unrest in Venezuela on none other than…President Donald Trump.
Now who would have ever thought of that, huh?
Violent protests and riots are now a normal everyday occurrence in Venezuela and the only ones to blame for such hell-like conditions is the socialist government that controls absolutely everything. Even with Chavez dead and gone, the government still exercises more and more power over its people. The everyday Venezuelans are fed up with their situation and the corruption that Marxism brings – poverty, lack of food and lack of rights – so large portions of the population have taken to the streets to combat and protest Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his regime. The protests have not been a pretty sight, as it was reported that they produced about a dozen deaths so far…but that’s just the protests. The everyday murders have skyrocketed, making the country one of, if not the worst for crime out there.
Though Venezuelans know exactly what they are protesting and fighting against, Maddow decided to spin the story in a different, more lefty palpable view and alleged that the people were outraged not at their government, but Trump himself.
Maddow went with the claim that Venezuelans are “enraged” over a so-called connection between a top Venezuelan businessman and the Trump administration, which supposedly received inauguration donations in exchange for some of the sanctions placed on Venezuela being lifted. The sanctions were part of Obama’s efforts to show some type of force after the Venezuelan government killed dozens of anti-government protesters.
But according to Carlson, Maddow’s accusations are a prime example of why Americans are not taking the leftist media’s lies anymore.
In John Hawkins’ new book ‘101 Things All Young Adults Should Know’, he teaches in chapter 17 “If you want to know what a person really believes, watch their actions”. Watching liberal media sources make fools of themselves by blatantly lying is all I need to see.
