BREAKING: Shots Fired For a Second Time at Mississippi’s Camp Shelby Military Base

Authorities report that shots have been fired for a second day in a row at the Camp Shelby military base in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Shots were fired yesterday, too. Authorities still have no suspects, but some witnesses seem to say that it was the same person who did the shooting yesterday.

Shots were fired for a second consecutive day near a military facility in southern Mississippi, but there are no reports of anyone being wounded, National Guard officials said Wednesday.

At about 8 a.m. Wednesday, soldiers training at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center reported shots fired into the air, said Lt. Col. Christian Patterson. It was in the same area where soldiers reported gunshots fired from a pickup truck a day earlier, Patterson said.

The description of the shooter was the same in both instances, Patterson said: a white male in a red pickup truck.

The post is secure, and all personnel are accounted for.

Now, one of the aspects of these two shootings that the media is pushing–with NO PROOF, mind you–is that these shootings are because Camp Shelby is hosting a base for the Pentagon’s controversial Jade Helm training operation.

The media is clearly trying to blame these shootings on conservatives who are mad at the Jade Helm program.

But understand at this time there is NO BASIS to report this as the fault of conservatives mad about Jade Helm. It is just as likely that it is a jihadist inflamed by Islam as anything else. Remember that it was initially reported that the Chattanooga shooter was a “white man,” too.

The fact is, we don’t know anything at all about the motive(s) for this shooting. Could it be a crazed sovereign citizen mad about Operation Jade Helm? Sure. But IS it? There is no way to even speculate and it is irresponsible for the media to be assigning a motive when there is not a scintilla of proof to even speculate.
