Bradley Manning Tries to Kill Himself

It appears that fame and a sex change operation were not enough to bring happiness to the heart of the iconic moonbat Bradley Manning:
The American Civil Liberties Union said in a statement that Chelsea Manning, 28, received a document from Army officials Thursday saying [he’s] being investigated for “administrative offenses,” including “conduct which threatens,” related to [his] July 5 suicide attempt at the military prison at Fort Leavenworth, where [he’s] serving a 35-year sentence. …
Manning, arrested as Bradley Manning, was convicted in 2013 in military court of six Espionage Act violations and 14 other offenses for leaking more than 700,000 secret military and State Department documents, plus some battlefield video. Manning, who was an intelligence analyst in Iraq at the time, later filed a transgender prisoner rights lawsuit.
Manning endangered American security by releasing the restricted information in a fit of pique over a failed homosexual relationship. Rather than facing the firing squad he so richly deserved, he was treated to a sex change operation. But his champions at the ACLU still aren’t satisfied; they find it “deeply troubling” that he could be placed in solitary as punishment for his suicide attempt.
Maybe the suicide attempt was a desperate attempt to escape from himself, just like his sex change. Or maybe it was only a cry for attention, motivated by worries that Bowe Bergdahl has eclipsed him as the ideal soldier in the age of political correctness.
