George W. Bush Does This On Memorial Day to Honor Vets

George W. Bush is thought to be conservative, but he’s not. He’s a moderate Republican. Many conservatives dislike many of his policies, but one thing we can all agree on is that Bush loves this country and those who serve it. As a reminder of this fact, check out what W did to celebrate Memorial Day.

From Young Conservatives:

Say what you will about former President George W. Bush, but this was a man who truly loved those who served our nation in the military and has never been shy about showing his affection for the men and women in uniform.

True to his character, Dubbya is observing Memorial Day in a really, really awesome way.

Check this out.

Seeing this post makes me long for the days when Bush was president. He wasn’t a perfect man, but at least our nation was safe with him at the helm, which is more than what can be said for Obama.

A lot of people end up treating Memorial Day as some sort of excuse for cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, and slamming down a cold brew.

While that’s cool and all, if you’re going to do that, be sure to show some honor and support for the men and women who died in order to provide you with the opportunity to engage in such activities.

Get into an argument with a liberal and invariably, they will eventually say, “Yeah, well George W. Bush did ____” – as if all conservatives are firm supporters of George W. Bush.

While many of his policies were disastrous, I am willing to give credit where due: the man loves America. Our current president despises America at its very core and it shows with every contemptuous utterance he offers.

I look forward to one day having a president again who loves America as Bush did.
