Doing Corporal Klinger proud… Defense Secretary Ash Carter should be deeply ashamed of himself. He is actively contributing to the destruction of the finest military the world has ever known. He is gladly scurrying to carry out Obama’s Marxist edicts. Transgenders can now openly serve in the military and dress however they like. The world is laughing at us. Seriously… they… are… laughing… at… us. War, children… is just a shot away. Our enemies are watching us. Obama is doing their dirty work and when there is nothing more to stop them, they will attack us. Russia, China and Iran are laughing themselves sick.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Transgender people will be allowed to serve openly in the U.S. military, the Pentagon announced Thursday, ending one of the last bans on service in the armed forces.

Saying it’s the right thing to do, Defense Secretary Ash Carter laid out a yearlong implementation plan declaring that “Americans who want to serve and can meet our standards should be afforded the opportunity to compete to do so.”

“Our mission is to defend this country, and we don’t want barriers unrelated to a person’s qualification to serve preventing us from recruiting or retaining the soldier, sailor, airman, or Marine who can best accomplish the mission,” Carter said at a Pentagon news conference.

Under the new policy, by Oct. 1, transgender troops already serving should be able to receive medical care and begin formally changing their gender identifications in the Pentagon’s personnel system.

This is Obama’s present to America on her 240th birthday… and it’s as evil as it gets. He has made our military into a social engineering experiment, he’s gutted our weaponry, reduced the ranks of our soldiers to WWI numbers and is busy demoralizing our troops, bringing them to their knees before the Caliphate. This doesn’t enhance readiness or core values… quite the opposite and they know it. Not only have the Progressives turned America into a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, they’ve transformed our military as well. Change to die for.
