The Bush Family Released Heartbreaking News; Please Pray

President George H.W. Bush has become one of the most beloved living presidents to Americans today. So when the Bush family released the news that he had been hospitalized after breaking a bone in his neck, people were immediately worried for the former president’s health and safety.

The Bush family has some heartbreaking news. On Wednesday night, George H.W. Bush was admitted to a Portland, Maine hospital after a horrific fall. While vacationing at his summer home, the Bush patriarch fell, and broke a vertebrae in his neck.

The former President recently celebrated his 91st birthday, but has still been attending campaign events with his son, Jeb. A spokesperson for Bush has announced that the injuries are not life-threatening, and expects a full recovery out of the former commander-in-chief.

This isn’t the first time in recent memory that Papa Bush has been hospitalized. In 2012 Bush sought out treatment for severe bronchitis, and in 2014 he was admitted for what was determined to be shortness of breath. It was also reported several years ago that he suffers from a form of Parkinson’s disease.

Hopefully, a mountain of prayers from around the world will help him to recover quickly. President Bush is getting up there in years, and a fall like this could so easily have been fatal — we are lucky that he should be able to recover, and maybe go back to skydiving again on his next birthday!
