North Korea Makes CHILLING Announcement

North Korea continues to pretend that they are a legitimate military threat to the United States. Kim Jong Un has sworn to launch nuclear weapons against the United States if there is any military action in North Korea and now, he’s made another threat.

A United States carrier group has joined with two Japanese naval ships for military exercises in the western Pacific. The Japanese ships, the Samidare and Ashigara, will “practice a variety of tactics,” according to a statement released by the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force.

President Donald Trump has ordered the USS Vinson strike group to sail off the Korean peninsula as a means of responding to North Korea’s increasing aggression, including nuclear and missile tests. On Saturday, Vice President Mike Pence said that the strike group would reach its destination “within days,” but remained silent on any other details.

Sunday, North Korea responded.

“Our revolutionary forces are combat-ready to sink a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with a single strike,” the Rodong Sinmun printed. The newspaper is the official state propaganda outfit for North Korea. They called the aircraft carrier a “gross animal” and said that attacking it would be “an actual example to show our military’s force.”

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi responded to the latest threat of force by urging for calm. “We need to issue peaceful and rational sounds,” he said.

To make matters worse, North Korea has detained an American citizen. Tony Kim is a Korean-American who had been teaching accounting at the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology (PUST). He was arrested at Pyongyang International Airport as he was trying to leave the country.

All people must be prepared for the worst possible outcome. North Korea likely poses no significant threat against us and these are meaningless statements that have no teeth behind them.
