How evil is Obamacare? Donald Berwick bad.

1. The Obama administration doesn’t want to talk about health care in any forum. Ever.

2. The Democrats are outraged about the recess appointment of the new Medicare/Medicaid chief, too.

3. Obamcare, aka Romneycare, has been in action in Massachusetts and it’s a disaster. Or, according to the Wall Street Journal’s Joseph Rago, a “Train Wreck”. Sub-head: “The future of ObamaCare is unfolding here: runaway spending, price controls, even limits on care and medical licensing.”

President Obama has, says Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, “s if shoving a trillion-dollar government takeover of healthcare down the throat of a disapproving American public wasn’t enough, apparently the Obama administration intends to arrogantly circumvent the American people yet again by recess-appointing one of the most prominent advocates of rationed healthcare to implement their national plan.”

Indeed, he has. And yet, the man marches on, seemingly impervious to the will of the people, or even his own party.

And yes, he’s paying for it:

Over the past year, Obama has lost support among all party groups, though the decline has been steeper among independents than among Republicans or Democrats. Today’s 38% approval rating among independents is 18 percentage points lower than the 56% found July 6-12, 2009. During the same period, his support has fallen nine points among Democrats (from 90% to 81%) and eight points among Republicans (from 20% to 12%).

The question, after looking at that Gallup poll, is how many people self-identify as Democrats now? It is unfathomable that 81% of Dems approve of this president. Horrifying, really. And yet, here we are.

Anyway, President Obama does not want to talk about his triumphant health care reform. He doesn’t want his surrogates talking about it. He doesn’t want an appointee talking about it.

President Obama wants a stealth government. He wants an unquestioned government. He wants absolute power.

And right now, there’s no one to stop him. November is important. But the left cannot get away with not talking about what destruction they’re bringing to the American economy and the health, literally, of the people.
