Black Minister Goes on Epic Rant Against Al Sharpton for Race Baiting (Video)

There is an epidemic of violence and broken homes in the black community, and Al Sharpton, the self-elected leader of the black community, thrives on it — which is why he managed to insert himself into the middle of the drama in Ferguson, Missouri. One black minister, Johnathan Gentry, has had enough, though, and went on an epic rant against Al Sharpton for his never-ending race baiting.

“Where were you in Chicago on the 4th of July weekend when over 60 drive-by shootings took place? Where were you a couple of weeks later when 47 shootings took place in Chicago? Where were you when that woman in Oakland lost both of her children three weeks apart? Where were you?”

“You only come around when something happens with the police or Caucasians. You’re not there for the black community, so you need to stop fronting NAACP as well. I want to call them out as well. They’re good for nothing. All they do is perpetuate hate.”

Gentry is absolutely right. Individuals like Sharpton are not out to help end racism. If they were, they’d soon find themselves out of a job. Rather, race baiters want to continue perpetuating racism because it puts coin in the bank.

If the reverend truly cared about the black community he would be applying his time and effort toward helping change urban culture and encouraging African Americans from all walks of life to apply themselves toward positive change in their personal lives which would eventually spill out into the community.

Al Sharpton doesn’t care at all that young black men routinely murder each other, or that in some cities, more black babies are aborted than are born. He only cares when he can find a way to fan the flames of racial tensions and increase hatred and distrust, because pitting black and white Americans against each other keeps his pockets lined with lots and lots of money. The question is, when will the black community wake up and see him for the race hustler he truly is?
