Al Sharpton, Religious Left Helping to Push Nuclear Arming of Iran

It is no secret that characters like Al Sharpton and their followers harbor a deep hatred of our country. But given that they are morons, how much damage can they do? As it turns out, potentially plenty:

Over the weekend, the Rev. Al Sharpton called on black churches to mobilize in support of the nuclear deal.

The nuclear deal in question frees up over $100 billion for Iran to spend on terrorism, as well as greenlighting its nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missile programs.

You might expect even this extreme of treachery from a rat like Al Sharpton. But he isn’t alone…

On Monday, a group of 340 rabbis from multiple strands of Judaism released a letter, urging lawmakers to vote for the agreement. And plans are in the works for a coordinated rollout of endorsements by a number of religious groups next week, an organizer said.

The campaign is led largely by Catholic and Quaker groups, such as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Friends Committee on National Legislation, and it reflects many of the organizations’ traditional anti-war stances.

As we have seen again and again since Vietnam, “anti-war” means “pro-enemy.” Obviously paving the nuclear pathway for a conspicuously belligerent country that has effectively been at war with the United States since 1979 is more likely to cause than to prevent massive violence. But the important thing with the religious left is self-righteous posturing, not actual consequences. So long as they side with the bad guys, they know they are doing the right thing — or rather, the politically correct thing.

Why would Christians or Jews want to provide nuclear weapons to maniacs who are genocidally hostile to all faiths but Islam? They wouldn’t. We aren’t talking about Christians or Jews; we are talking about progressives. You can only serve one god.
