Someone announced something pretty spectacular…for Trump, if it’s true. A prediction that he could win the nomination with 1,100 of the delegate votes…

Trump currently leads his closest competitor Ted Cruz by 200 delegates and over 2 million votes.
The Washington Examiner reported:

Republican National Committee member Randy Evans said Wednesday that Donald Trump would likely be able to secure the Republican nomination if he captures anything more than 1,100 delegates, short of the 1,237 delegates needed for a simple majority.

“If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1,237,” Evans said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

From our earlier conservative estimates – Trump will reach 1,100 delegates by June 7 or before.
This is with delegates awarded to Ted Cruz in New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania which is unlikely.
