The Seahawks Michael Bennett sits down for the National Anthem

There seems to be no end in sight to racist asshats that are part of the NFL these days. The latest is Michael Bennett who stayed seated during the National Anthem during the game between the Seahawks and the Chargers last night. Disgraceful. Bennett is a HUGE supporter of Colin Kaepernick. They hang together. He says what Kaepernick did wasn’t criminal. No, it wasn’t… it was just unpatriotic in the extreme and it screamed not only racism and hatred for America, but a deep, deep, deep hate for police officers. I hope the Seahawks get boycotted over this.

Bennett and some team members may want Kaepernick back, but it’s not going to happen. He’s damaged goods and has far too much baggage. He hurts the reputation of whatever team he is linked with and the fans hate him. And if Bennett insists on this type of behavior, he will find himself ostracized as well. No sympathy here for this jerk whatsoever. You want to make a political statement, do it on your own time and leave it off the gridiron. No one cares about your politics… they care about the game.

From Breitbart:

Here we go again.

The day after former Seahawk and current Raider, Marshawn Lynch, sat on the bench in protest during the playing of the national anthem. Current Seahawk Bennett followed suit on Sunday night, by sitting during the anthem before the Seahawks game against the Chargers at StubHub Center:

Bennett has been an outspoken supporter of Colin Kaepernick. According to ESPN, Bennett, “…spent time with Colin Kaepernick during the offseason and wore a T-shirt supporting Kaepernick’s “Know Your Rights” camp during a spring news conference.”

Bennett has also spoken about what he thinks it would take, for a team to take a shot on Colin Kaepernick: “It’s going to take the organization. I think the players have spoken up enough. I think the media has spoken up. It just takes the ownership for someone to say we want this guy in our locker room. I think a lot of teams, like we said before, were really affected by what he did and what he did this year. It wasn’t criminal.

And get a load of this statement: “There’s been guys who have criminal records, guys who have been accused of murder, guys who have been accused of rape and domestic violence who are still in the NFL. It’s crazy to see this guy not have an opportunity in the NFL. It’s just weird. I mean, some quarterbacks, as we all know, shouldn’t be playing, but they are, and this guy is sitting on the side. We all know why. It’s just hard to fathom that he’s not having a job this year.” Well, if they have criminal records, they shouldn’t be in the NFL. If they are gang bangers, they shouldn’t be there either. If the NFL had any standards at all, which they don’t, they wouldn’t be allowed in. Radicals and criminals should be persona non grata and if Bennett can’t comprehend that, he’s a moron.

Next, Bennett goes on to whine about racism in the NFL. This guy needs to go. But the Seahawks won’t do it… they are too politically correct and they actually embrace Black Lives Matter. He had the nerve to call all of middle-America a bunch of white racists. I won’t EVER watch this asshat again. I would hope the rest of middle-America is like me and feels the same way. He can take his racist, cop-hating, America-bashing ways and stuff it where the sun don’t shine as far as I’m concerned.
