Dick Cheney weighs in on Benghazi: Hillary “clearly bears responsibility”

Former Vice President Dic Cheney has weighed in on: whether or not Hillary Clinton should bear any responsibility for the terrorist attack in Benghazi. Predictably, he: believes the answer is yes.

In an interview taped for Fox News Sunday, Cheney told host Chris Wallace that the former Secretary of State will have some explaining to do.

‘She was Secretary of State at the time that it happened,’ Cheney said in an excerpt broadcast Friday afternoon on Fox.

‘She was one of the first in Washington to know about it.’

‘I think she clearly bears responsibility for whatever the State Department did or didn’t do with respect to that — uh, that crisis.’

The question now isn’t whether or not Hillary Clinton should be: deemed responsible in some way for the attack. What we should be asking is: what, if any, action will be taken to hold her accountable? Sadly, that answer may be just as predictable as Cheney’s: comments.
