Philly Mayor Should be REMOVED from Office After Saying This About Muslim Terrorist

This is just sick. Yesterday, in Philadelphia, a Muslim man approached an officer in his cruiser and calmly shot it 13 times point blank. Miraculously, the officer survived. He was shot in the left arm three times and will recover. The suspect was taken into custody. He then confessed and said he did it in the name of Islam. He is also purportedly connected to ISIS. The mayor of Philadelphia then saw fit to come out and say that the shooter’s actions had nothing to do with Islam. What a stupid lie. That mayor should be removed from office immediately. How can he say that when the guy did it in the name of Islam? Unbelievable.

As reported by Fox News, “The man caught in surveillance footage ambushing a Philadelphia officer in a squad car, shooting him multiple times, claimed he acted “in the name of Islam,” police said at a news conference Friday.

The suspect’s gun, a 9mm Glock 17, had been stolen from police in 2013 [it was reported], Commissioner Richard Ross said.

The suspect, 30-year-old Edward Archer, told homicide investigators he “pledges his allegiance to Islamic State, he follows Allah, and that is the reason he was called upon to do this.

The suspect told police his attack was inspired by the police upholding laws that are contrary to the teachings of the Koran — could he have been referring to Islamic jurisprudence aka Sharia law?

What was utterly amazing — actually stupefying — was the statement from Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney at the press conference:

“In no way shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teaching of Islam has anything to do with what you’ve seen on the screen.” Mayor Kenney said of the shooting, “It is abhorrent. It is terrible and it does not represent the religion in any way, shape or form or any of its teachings.” He continued, “This is a criminal with a stolen gun who tried to kill one of our officers. It has nothing to do with being a Muslim or following the Islamic faith.”

Talk about out of control political correctness, denial and dhimmitude… this guy has it all in spades. This is exactly what Obama and the rest of the liberals do. They deny the facts before them and say it is something else that fits their political agenda. The guy was a Jihadist… a Muslim… an Islamist. He wanted to ambush and kill a cop in the name of his religion. This isn’t a one-off occurrence or something that rarely happens. This happens all the time in Islam. It is commonplace. To treat Edward Archer as a mere criminal and leave out his motivation is insane. I agree with Allen West here:” When ISIS reads from the Koran before raping young girls, well, that has everything to do with Islam and the onus is not on us to deny it. The responsibility lies with Muslims to reform their religion and stand with liberty-loving people — such is what Dr. Zhudi Jasser does, and he has death threats levied against him.” We can’t overcome this deadly threat unless we face it head on and labeling it as something that it isn’t is not only foolish, but suicidal. Philadelphia should remove this man and get someone capable of actually facing the threat there and defeating it.
