There are reports that the superstar couple have called it QUITS due to a fight between Lambert and Stefani. Fans of the people involved are in an uproar over the break-up and it’s flooding the internet…this is the story that broke this morning:

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s fairy tale romance seemed to good to be true! After four months of packing on a hot and heavy PDA filled relationship, the 46-year-old pop singer has called it quits!

A source told OK! Magazine, the couple broke up after fighting over a series of mean texts that Gwen received from Blake’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert!

The feud brewed when the 32-year-old country singer found out that Gwen had been referring to her as a ‘redneck harlot!’ Miranda got ahold of Gwen’s cell phone number and started calling her, sometimes as many as four times a day!

“Gwen didn’t bother picking up because the calls were coming from an unknown number. But at some point, she got annoying and texted back, ‘Who is this, and how did you get my number?” the source explained.

Miranda clearly had no problem being upfront when she identified herself and called Gwen a “home-wrecker,” adding Gwen was “lucky I don’t find you and kick you’re a**.” Then, Miranda took the fight one step farther when she told Gwen her career was “over” and she and her music hadn’t “been relevant since the ‘90s.” Ouch!

While Gwen ignored Miranda and changed her number, she took her anger out on her country-star boyfriend. “Gwen accused Blake of somehow letting her phone number slip to his ex,” the insider revealed.

And things only got worse when Blake seemingly defended Miranda. “He told Gwen to calm down and tried to brush off the situation, explaining that it was just Miranda’s tough ‘country gal’ personality coming through and that Gwen shouldn’t get too worked up about it.”

Of course it was never Blake’s intention to take his ex’s side— “he’s just the easiest-going guy on Earth,” who wanted to diffuse the tension, the source explained.

But Gwen, who is oversensitive about loyalty after finding out that her ex-husband cheated on her, immediately put the breaks on their relationship!

It remains unclear whether the two will rekindle or if the relationship is over for good!

We find it a little hard to believe that two strong women like Stefani and Lambert would allow an exchange of words to make waves big enough to create that much drama…so we did some digging.

According to sources, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have not “split,” despite yet another inaccurate tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s entirely “false.”

And yet, despite the tabloid’s entirely made-up story, Shelton has been by Stefani’s side, including being at her son Apollo’s second birthday party on Sunday at her Beverly Hills home, where they were openly affectionate. It all makes Gossip Cop wonders if OK! relied on its same know-nothing “source,” who fed the magazine a slew of false reports, such as its cover four weeks ago that claimed Steni was “pregnant with twins.” Oddly, the publication makes no mention of the couple’s impending “twins” in its new bull “split” story.

Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with actual Shelton and Stefani insiders. A source close to the country singer says it is simply “more garbage” from the tabloids, while Stefani’s rep exclusively tells us the entire story is “false.”

The internet can calm down now. All is well.
