Ben Carson is often accused of being a sellout because he is a black man who backs Trump and is a Republican. So the Left, of course, thinks he is merely a token or a prop for Republicans. But Carson, a brilliant pediatric neurosurgeon by trade, is a true example of the American Dream. And because he desires others to achieve that same success, he is Republican; the party of free markets, freedom and less government interference in business and in our lives. For that anti-progressive perspective, the Left blasts him as a traitor. Let them. They are the ones losing out. The nation needs more of Carson’s viewpoint, not less.
