Confronted by an inmate in prison, rebellious 13-year old cries like a baby for his mama

bad kidEthan, age 13, was headed down the wrong track in life, getting in trouble with the law for fighting and theft. When his older brother took a similar turn for the worse, the family sent him to prison for a day to see what life is like for criminals. The experience straightened him out, so his parents decided to send Ethan there too. This video captures his experience as he’s confronted by tough prison guards and tattooed, fearless felons.

Fly Height has the video below.

Afterwards, Ethan says the experience has caused him to clean up his behavior, and his father affirms that his school grades have improved. Sadly, his mother is not in the picture, possibly in prison herself, which may have contributed to his behavioral problems. Kudos to Ethan’s father for immersing Ethan in this powerful, life educating experience. Sending juvenile delinquents to prison for a day should be the first recommended step for every child who runs afoul of the law.
