Corrupt Media Machine Beseeches American Hero: ‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle not as decorated as he claimed according to Leftist Rag site

This is an unprofessional amateurish assault on the fine memory of an American hero, Chris Kyle! The lane brains at this silly website that isn’t worth my time mentioning don’t know their asses from their elbows!

NY Post reports documents show that slain Navy SEAL and “American Sniper” Chris Kyle received fewer medals for his military service than what he indicated in his best-selling memoir about his four tours of duty in Iraq.

Navy files show that Kyle earned one Silver Star and three Bronze Stars with valor, instead of the two Silver Stars and five Bronze Stars his book says he received.

The documents were obtained by the online magazine The Intercept through an open-records request, and the Navy on Wednesday confirmed the contents of the documents to The Associated Press.

The Silver Star is the third-highest military combat decoration. The Bronze Star is awarded to members of the Armed Forces for heroic or meritorious achievement or service in a combat zone.

Lt. Jackie Pau, a Navy spokeswoman, told the AP that Kyle’s military personnel file states he received one Silver Star and three Bronze Stars with valor.

Kyle’s discharge paperwork, known as a DD214 form, indicated he had received two Silver Stars and at least five Bronze Stars, which is what he wrote in his book.

It doesn’t natter a rip what some “documents” may say somewhere in a DOD file. The document of record is the separation papers from military service, the DD-214. It’s the official record of a person’s military history from start to finish. As a former investigator for the city of New York, that was the document I needed to see to determine how the person left the service. Was it “Honorable”, or “Under Honorable Conditions” or “Less than Honorable Conditions” which used to be called Dishonorable. The DD-214 lists ALL the service medals a person earned during his military career. The city of New York and other municipalities in this country uses the DD-214 to determine whether a person is eligible for veterans preference points on civil service examines. In other words the DD-214 is The Bible of who a person was in the military! Anything else is conjecture, envy, hate or just plain bullshit!
