Couple Hits Pole Going 85 MPH. She Turns Right to Look Out the Window to See ‘Him’ Smiling at Her

Do you believe in guardian angels? Whether they exist or not, the fact is that we all need a source of comfort from time to time to find the strength to confront the perils of this world. When one woman miraculously survived a car crash that should have killed both her and her boyfriend, she saw divine intervention in her survival and has taken to the internet to share her tale:

Arika Stovall and her boyfriend, Hunter, survived a crash that should have killed them. It was “only by the grace of God” that both Arika and Hunter were able to stand on their own two feet—next to the hunk of metal that use to be a truck—and smile.

It’s a miracle how little damage was done to the both of them after their truck slammed into a pole going 85 miles per hour. Arika describes that the accident, “should have chopped their bodies in half.”

According to a post on Arika’s Facebook wall, she and Hunter had three seconds from when they started sliding off the road to impact.

In that three seconds God helped Hunter take the wheel and place his truck exactly in the center of the pole, so that they both went untouched, a feat, “that just doesn’t happen.”

“God doesn’t throw protection around like that for no reason,” Arika writes. “He does it because he’s not finished with us.”

Arika says she remembers looking over at the driver’s seat to see Hunter’s head through the windshield, his face covered in blood, and his body laying there, motionless.

Arika looked out the truck window. That’s when she saw him.

“There was a man, bright with a big white beard. No other cars in sight, just this man,” Arika remembers.

“He was my guardian angel.”

Arika doesn’t know if it was a hallucination, an unconscious dream, or maybe even a glimpse of heaven, but she knows it was a message from God.

The couple didn’t suffer any broken bones, no internal damages, just concussions and a few bumps and bruises. Less than 48 hours after the accident, they were both released from the hospital.

The only thing that was left behind at the scene was Hunter’s bible, opened to a scripture saying not to be afraid, Jesus was with them.

“I am amazed. Absolutely taken away by the presence of God, so blessed for him sending me an angel, so thankful for Hunter and his second chance at life, for his healing and health.”

Arika says she is now praying for others, to spread the notion that nothing on this earth can change the plan God already has in store, and they are so grateful for the miracle He has given them.

A riveting account of one woman’s experience testifies to her gratitude to be alive and her faith in God.

Whether their miraculous survival was the hand of fate or whether it was a mere coincidence, the fact is that Arika and her boyfriend have chosen to look towards God for answers- a source of comfort that can be relied upon for the rest of their lives.

With a belief that she was spared for a reason, hopefully, Arika will feel more compelled to do God’s work here on Earth.
