This past Friday was the opening game of West Laurens’ 2015 season — and like in previous years, all the fans were in the stands and the band was on the field. And when the time came for the mandated “moment of silence,” here’s what happened…

Some fans began reciting the Lord’s Prayer, and others joined in. Then the band began to play “Amazing Grace.”

So did the fans successfully get around the law banning school prayer at games?
