Make the World Cold and Dark for Only $350 Trillion

Let’s see, what will Obama throw our money at next? Welfare? Just did that, although welfare is now called “tax cuts.” Socialized medicine? He just made a “down payment” of $634 billion. I know, how about a $350 trillion space shield to deflect light from the sun:

Scientists claim they can fight global warming by firing trillions of mirrors into space to deflect the sun’s rays forming a 100,000 square mile “sun shade”.

According to astronomer Dr Roger Angel, at the University of Arizona, the trillions of mirrors would have to be fired one million miles above the earth using a huge cannon with a barrel of 0.6 miles across.

It’s becoming clear why scientists play along with the global warming farce. No project is too wacky, pernicious, or overpriced to compete for funding so long as it’s on behalf of the polar bears.

The power used by the gun would be enough to boil 44,000 tea kettles. But we won’t need to worry about the generation of electricity causing global warming, once we’ve deflected the sun’s life-giving rays into outer space.

If the shield works, it will supposedly keep us cold and dark for 50 years. Chairman Zero is probably writing the check now.
