Marco Rubio To Attend Convention And RELEASE Delegates To Trump- Also Offers To Do THIS!

There has been plenty of talk as to what will happen to the delegates of the GOP candidates who have since dropped out of the race. But that is not so for one candidate, and it’s a bit surprising. Party before personal feelings for Sen. Marco Rubio.

Donald Trump officially clinched the GOP nomination early today but Marco Rubio also came out and announced he will be going to the convention and will release his delegates to Trump.

He also offered to make a speech supporting Trump.

From CNN:

Marco Rubio says he plans to attend the Republican convention, will release his delegates to vote for Donald Trump and would be willing to speak on Trump’s behalf.

“I want to be helpful. I don’t want to be harmful, because I don’t want Hillary Clinton to be president,” Rubio told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview.

“Look, my policy differences with Donald Trump — I spent 11 months talking about them. So I think they’re well understood,” Rubio said. “That said … I don’t want Hillary Clinton to be president. If there’s something I can do to help that from happening, and it’s helpful to the cause, I’d most certainly be honored to be considered for that.”

Marco Rubio is putting the personal attacks behind him, and helping his party nominee win the Presidency. So much for the ‘con man’ bit. That’s fine. It’s his delegates, and he has right to do so.

But the party is far from unified, and it will take serious bread breaking with principled conservatives to get them on board.
