The new front in the culture war is being able to, as a business owner, refuse service to anyone you feel like for any reason. For this gun shop owner in Florida, that means refusing service to Muslims.
“Now I have a moral and legal responsibility to ensure the safety of all patriots in my community,” Hallinan said, standing in front of a Confederate flag. “Effective immediately I’m declaring Florida Gun Supply a Muslim-free zone. I will not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots.”
He then told his viewers, “The jihadists said they would do it and they have. They said they would live among us, and they do.” He added that no one should believe those who say Islam “is not evil.”
He went on to say that he will offer free lessons and access to his shooting range to anyone interested in obtaining a concealed carry permit. What do you think? Is this guy being at all helpful to the cause?
