Q&A Friday #99: Who Are Your Top 5 Favorite Movie Villains Of All-Time?

Question: “Who are your Top 5 Favorite Movie Villains of all-time?” — D-Vega

Answer: My personal faves, huh? I’m going to go with the following in no particular order,

Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the Lambs): Clever, incredibly perceptive, and absolutely deadly. A very memorable villain — and not just because he eats people.

The Joker (Dark Knight): Heath Ledger’s Joker was extraordinarily evil, violent, psychotic, and unpredictable. Ledger took a goofy, two dimensional character, and made him into a nightmare.

Darth Vader (Star Wars series): I’m one of the few people out there who’s not a particularly big fan of Star Wars, but even I have to give respect where respect is due; Vader is a legend.

Pinhead (Hellraiser series): This will probably be the name on the list that the most people disagree with, but I think Pinhead is totally underrated. He’s extremely menacing; his method of execution, tearing people apart with chains, is absolutely horrific — and after you die, he carts you off to hell. That’s hard core.

Alien (The Aliens series): The most dangerous animal in the universe. It’s intelligent, strong, fast, visually striking, hunts in packs, has acid for blood, and its eggs, which are laid in your body, explode out of your chest.
