Republicans Turn The Calls Back To The DNC

National Republicans turned the tables on their political counterparts Wednesday by redirecting angry telephone calls coming into their switchboard to the Democratic National Committee.

The DNC released a Web video early in the morning accusing the GOP of inciting mob activity at town hall meetings.

At the end of the video, the DNC instructs people to call the Republican National Committee to express outrage. Callers who dial the RNC’s main number to voice their concern about the DNC’s charges are told to press 1, which sends them to the DNC’s main switchboard.

And they accuse the TEA Party and townhall protesters of being “astroturfed?” Having the DNC release a video telling their unhinged, lunatic, barking moonbat, grasshopper followers to call the GOP is about as organized as it gets.

DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse described the RNC’s redirection as a “neat trick,” but said it just further proves the Democrats’ point about the GOP.

“The RNC is inciting angry mobs to shout out legitimate discussion at public events across the country and now they want to ignore people who deplore their tactics,” Woodhouse said. “Republicans don’t want to have a discussion about the future of health care reform – they want to shout out – and now completely ignore – anyone who disagrees with them.”

More projection. Again, imagine this was a few years ago, and Bush was President. Or, imagine had McCain not blown the election. Now consider, if McCain or Bush were attempting to push through legislation that fundamentally changed American life, what would those on the Left be doing? They’d be out demonstrating, as we witnessed for almost 8 years, carrying professionally made signs handed out from trucks. All wearing the same shirt, bearing a logo of ACORN, A.N.S.W.E.R., World Can’t Wait, and so on. Putting on skits where they waterboard each other. Getting in the face of police officers. You know how the story goes. And they certainly wouldn’t sit quietly while the White House asks citizens to snitch on other citizens who are engaged in Free Speech as it was originally meant: to protest against the government without reprisal. It’s rather creepy the way that those on the Left have all of a sudden decided that trashing the Constitution is A-OK. Where’s the ACLU when it is something real?

Speaking of creepy, Shawn Mallow at Wixbang finds this a bit weird

This is bizarre. It is spooky. It is actually kind of frightening.

Narcissist that he is, his official campaign logo affixed prominently in the middle, on top of a map of the country. No American flag to be seen.

Some AMA-like symbol, with white, faceless beings standing behind the Obama logo, like lost souls, as if he’s is protecting them.

I’m going to catch flak for this, but, it reminds me of some Nazi propaganda poster from World War II.

It is rather disturbing. But it is par for the course with Obama, since his campaign never ends.
