An investigation was underway on Saturday after an E coli outbreak linked to Chipotle restaurants in Washington state and Oregon made 22 people sicks and put eight of them in the hospital.

Three people near Portland and 19 people in Washington became sick after eating at the Mexican food chain since October 14, but no deaths have been reported, the Oregon Health Authority said.

The Denver-based company said 43 Chipotle sites have been closed in the two states.
