It’s common knowledge that the mainstream media has a bias, but you would still expect them to call out someone telling a blatant lie, right? In the very least, they would take great pains to make sure said lie wasn’t perpetuated on their program, right? Well you obviously don’t watch Rachel Maddow.
Every belief, religion or philosophy has its apologists, we get that. Whatever your point of view is on the world or life, you need to bring correct facts to the table and not outright lies. And even more we expect official members of the media to ask follow up questions when ridiculous claims are made.
Rachel Maddow had a guest the other night who went wheels off on her claims. Linda Sarsour claimed on Maddow’s program that Muslim children are being executed in the United States, and Maddow just stared and nodded her head in agreement. Are they privy to information the rest of us know nothing about?
For clarification she said:
“We come to the US, 22 states with anti-sharia bills trying to ban us from practicing our faith, mosque oppositions, we’re fighting, you know, zoning boards across the country, our kids are hearing this rhetoric, we have people, mosques being vandalized, kids being executed…”
You can watch the exchange below:
I’d like to point something out: She complains that we have anti-Sharia bills, which “prevent them from practicing their faith,” (Sharia is a moral code, thus dictating their laws) yet says that Muslims flee to America to escape places where free speech is prohibited. So why would you want to bring the oppressive system over to the place you’re escaping to? America has a law of the land and it is not compatible with Sharia. If you want that, take a trip to the middle east, but the rest of us enjoy our freedom to walk around with toenail polish on and NOT be punished.
And please, if you have any evidence as to the claim that Muslim children are being EXECUTED in the United States, do share. Maddow, you should be ashamed of yourself. You didn’t even bother to question her claim of the executions, which is so ridiculously far-fetched that even a moonbat like yourself should be able to see through it. But I guess anything to support your agenda, eh?
