hmlsmnIn this era of social media and cameras everywhere, even charity can’t escape. This aspiring filmmaker decides to take a video of himself giving a homeless man a pizza and a $100 bill. He gets a shocking response as the man realizes he is being filmed.

This brings up ethical questions. Is it right to film homeless people? With or without their knowledge? What if it’s done for charitable reasons? Was this filmmaker doing this out of kindness, or was he looking to profit in some way from it? Of course, the obvious answer is if you are going to provide charity to the homeless, it is generally best to do it privately without recognition.
