Young Kids See Something Sticking Out Of The Snow, They Look Closer And Make HORRIFYING Discovery

For most kids, a snowfall represents fun in the snow. If you’re lucky, it means cancelled school days. In my house, it meant my Dad would be cursing as he hates putting-on chains. For one group of kids in New Jersey, however, it meant a grisly discovery and the death of innocence.

Kids and snow go together. Snowballs, snowman and snow angel-making thrill kids. But for a group of New Jersey kids, what they found in the snow was not what they were expecting to find when they went out to play.

The kids noticed a winter coat sticking out of the snow. They then notified an adult, and upon closer inspection, the body of a woman was found lying under the snow. The deceased was their neighbor. Mary Wall, 64, had been shoveling snow in her driveway when she collapsed, passed away, and was buried in the snow.

Over 30 people have passed away as a result of the latest snowstorm that blanketed the East Coast over the weekend. Many of those who lost their lives did so while shoveling snow. According to the Washington Post, snow shoveling-related deaths, and health crises related to shoveling snow, are very common.

In 2012, nearly 35,000 people were treated in hospital emergency rooms for snow shoveling-related injuries, illnesses, and distress. The most common injury is musculoskeletal strains.

These poor kids went out likely to have some fun in the snow and now will likely remember the discovery for the rest of their lives.

Further, the poor woman’s family must be undergoing significant grief.

We should pray for all those affected and remember that snow-shoveling can be vigorous and should only be done by those fit enough to endure it.
