Per Liberal Ideology, Women Aren’t the Only Ones Who Get Periods

Feminists pretending to be oppressed committed a politically incorrect faux pas when they started the hashtag #IfMenHadPeriods to circulate claims such as that people would be entitled to a week off work each month. The transsexual bloc, securely planting its feet on the liberal doctrine that all differences between genders are arbitrary and oppressive social constructs imposed by heteronormative cis-privileged patriarchs, screeched that men do have periods. Seriously:

[W]omen aren’t the only ones who get periods; transgender men and non-binary people who haven’t had hormone replacement therapy to alleviate menstrual symptoms can, too.

That is, women who say they are not women and therefore literally are not women according to liberal ideology get periods.

[T]he hashtag ultimately doesn’t recognize that trans men are men — even without hormone replacement therapy. When feminism fails to be intersectional — and fails to be inclusive of marginalized groups like the trans community — it can become tone-deaf, excluding, and even transphobic. Surely there’s another way to call out menstruphobia without exercising cis privilege or alienating anyone.

Menstruphobia. Had enough political correctness yet? Here is some more anyway:

Brown University’s student body president will be hand-delivering menstrual products to all nonresidential bathrooms on campus, including men’s rooms, with the help of 20 other students.

Viet Nguyen, President of the Undergraduate Council of Students, announced the initiative in a campus-wide email Tuesday, saying he wants to communicate the message that not all people who menstruate are women, according to Newsweek.

“There’s been a lot of conversation about why pads and tampons are a necessity, not a luxury, but not a lot of action. We wanted to take it into our own hands,” Nguyen explains in the email, observing that “low-income students struggle with having the necessary funding for food, let alone tampons.”

Low income students might also struggle with tuition at Ivy League Brown. For an undergrad, the cost of tuition/fees/room/board comes to $62,046 per year. But for the price you do get free tampons in the men’s room.

The tampons are intended to “set a tone of trans-inclusivity” according to Nguyen. If only someone would set a tone of normal-inclusivity.
