Fans Express Disgust Of Bonzi Buddy In The Matrix Reloaded By Steve Tanner: While thousands of Matrix fans rushed to see the latest in the sci-fi trilogy, many were baffled and angered at the newest film addition – Bonzi Buddy. Contrary to opinion, Time Warner feels they have made a revolutionary break through by including it to The Matrix Reloaded.
Fans worldwide expressed their disappointment to the annoying little monkey. “It kept asking me if I need to go to the bathroom and if I understood the plot” claimed moviegoer Jeffery Stepp, “Then at key points of the film, it would tell me where I could purchase crappy merchandise from the film. It would not shut up.”
Ted Pickeral, and executive at Time Warner defended its decision to include Bonzi Buddy in the film. “The Matrix is basically a big computer program. One of our companies (AOL) proudly includes Bonzi software in most of its programs. That little purple ape fills me full of joy. We think fans will really enjoy the upcoming sequel Revolutions where we experiment with Pop up windows and parental controls.”
