On Monday, I’ll be running retro RWN posts and on Tuesday, I’ll be back with the 4th annual “Most Annoying Liberals of 2005.” Until then, consider this an open thread and have a great holiday week-end!

RWN Returns Tuesday: Unfortunately, I’ve made my last post of the day because I’m heading to the beach on vacation. I will not be returning until Monday afternoon which means that RWN won’t be back until Tuesday. Later tonight, I’ll log in and post an already prepared list of websites in the daily news section. If I’m not going to be here, maybe I can at least farm out a little traffic to some deserving websites.

RWN Returns Tuesday: A few things of note…

— I’m going to be taking Memorial Day off since I have learned from experience that traffic drops precipitously on holidays anyway. So RWN will be updated again on Tuesday.

— Speaking of Memorial Day, FDR pointed out something of importance when he said,

“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them”.

Freedom isn’t free and the members of our armed forces who risked all and sometimes gave all defending it deserve our respect and admiration for their service to our country. For all the men and women who have fought, bled and died for America, RWN salutes you.

— As per usual when I take a three day week-end, I’ve posted some worthy blogs in the daily news section to give you something to read. Give ’em a look and you may find some new blogs worth bookmarking.

— I’ve added some new forms of advertising to RWN. We now have advertisements that go in the daily news section and on the main page. Give those a look.

Also, our $15 88×31 buttons that stay up for a month are still available although more than half of the slots are already sold. If you want to get one of the button ads, I’d suggest getting something in ASAP since I do expect them to sell out again this month. If you’re looking to get the word out about your product or blog, there are some VERY affordable ways to do it here on Right Wing News.
