It is amazing what can be survived. This incredible video shows the miraculous survival of a dog covered in rock-solid tar, saved by people who worked hard to save his life.

An animal rescue center in India recently posted an amazing video of a dog who had fallen into a hot tar pit in India – and turned “rock-solid” after the gooey tar cooled on his fur. All he could move were his eyes.

… “He had fallen into a pool of hot tar that smothered his body and had became rock-solid. He was stuck to the ground and unable to move. A passerby saw him struggling and called our help-line.

After hours of massaging vegetable oil into the thick layer of tar watch his amazing recovery!”

If a passerby hadn’t noticed the dog and alerted animal aid when they did, the dog surely would have died an slow, agonizing death as he starved to death, frozen in the tar. Thankfully, this is one story with a happy ending!
