This is the emotional moment a young boy was reunited with his lost pet and burst into tears of joy.

Paula Williams‎, who lives in Lubbock, Texas, posted the heartwarming footage to the city’s Lost and Found Pets Facebook page, where it has been viewed more than 3.4 million times.

Writing alongside the video, Paula explained that her son’s puppy Kase went missing from their house about a month ago.

She said that the dog was eventually found down the street from where they live – a family had taken him in and kept him warm and fed.

Paula decided to record the moment she shared the good news with her son and captured his sheer delight at being reunited with the puppy.
