Police in London are on the look out for a woman who entered a pharmacy and then immediately started strangling a baby in its pram (what we Americans call a baby stroller).
The whole thing was caught on security video…
Security video shows the attacker, wearing a striped poncho and a hat with ear flaps, walk calmly into the pharmacy at about 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 and approach the mother and her baby. The suspect appears to reach into the stroller while the stunned mom and a security guard look on.
She appeared to have been followed in by the suspect, who walked straight to the pushchair and reached into it taking hold of the baby’s throat for a second.
According to police, the mother of the baby had originally thought that the suspect was simply going to fuss over her baby — but when she saw what was actually happening, she immediately grabbed the suspect’s hand to prevent the assault from continuing.
It’s reported the suspect uttered the words “that baby would rather be dead” as she was escorted out by a security guard at Boots.
What the heck?
