VIDEO: Protesters Flee When They See a Ferguson Store Owner is Packing Heat

A liquor store in Ferguson has been the victim of looting several times over the past year, so it was only natural that the owner made sure to be prepared when the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death rolled around. This time, he wasn’t going to be victimized again — so he stood guard outside armed with a gun to keep the thugs away.

After being looted twice in the past year, the Ferguson Market and Liquor Store employees decided to take things into their own hands since the government failed.

Armed with shotguns and handguns, the employees stood at the front of the store on Sunday night.

When the shots rang out during the protests many people reportedly rad towards Ferguson Market but quickly ran away when the guns were drawn.

These thugs suddenly aren’t so tough when they’re confronted with a gun. If more Ferguson residents were willing or able to protect themselves and their property, how much of this looting could have been prevented?
