That right there is a major TV star who needs to do more squats and furthermore needs to discover something called pants. A bra would help too.

Ariel Winter is the young star on Modern Family, which is one of the top rated shows on TV and at 19, we can understand that she’d want to be a bit of an exhibitionist, but her response to the critics of this particular pair of wayward shorts is baffling:

“I literally do not try and show my a*S when I wear shorts…my a*s just eats them up and then I don’t know…awkward af.”

That’s not how shorts work. Also where is your bra?! You have over 8 million people watching your show, do you not make enough money per episode to buy yourself a nice bra?

You know what, just go naked. If you want attention so badly that you run errands around Los Angeles with your boyfriend while pretending that you were completely unaware that your bottom topography is in full view, then fill your cowboy boots.

In a recent interview, Ariel’s estranged mother Chrystal Workamn said that she wished her daughter wouldn’t show off so much skin.

“She needs to grow up. I would tell her to dress properly, be the beautiful person she is. I feel sad that she feels the need to expose herself when it’s not necessary.”

In the past, Ariel had accused her mother of abusing her emotionally and physically and had attempted to sexualize her at a young age.

Ariel is indeed a Good Girl who is shocked, shocked! That you would guess that she’s trying to get more attention by showing off her butt at every chance she can get. Oh, here’s some of her Instagram photos:

As a happy wearer of short shorts, I’m not going to be too judgey, but for three things:

• I wear opaque tights underneath them
• Even with tights, you still aren’t privy to 40% of my cheeks.
• I don’t pretend to be shocked at my wardrobe malfunctions while maintaining an Instagram filled with the same thing

But don’t go around telling people that you’re just as shocked as they were that your butt was freely available.

This is the second time in a week that we’ve written up Modern Family for poor behavior. One of the show’s staff writers, Danny Zuker, is one of the blue checkmark Twitter users who is constantly trying to score one on Donald Trump.
