The Radicalization of Syed Farook

This mass shooting was definitely radical Islamic terrorism. Than can be no question anymore. Whether Syed Farook was radicalized here or abroad is immaterial at this point.

It certainly should become relevant as the investigation continues, but he and his wife did kill in the name of Islam. That’s a fact. It wasn’t Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism or Buddhism.

 

There are no devout Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. who have been mass murderers and/or terrorists. There is no such thing as a radical Christianist or Jewist.

 

Even when Christians do go bad, as in the Westboro Baptists, who all would agree are the worse so-called Christians, they don’t kill people in the name of their warped version of Christianity. Islam is the only religion for which radicals kill and terrorize in its name.

 

And Farook, according to his father was indeed devout. He was even given preferential treatment by being allowed to leave work to pray and then return. That’s quite a feat considering he was working for the separation of church and state California public sector.

What Mosque did he go to? He had evidently been attached to the Islamic Center of Riverside Ca. My research shows no outward signs of radicalization originating from that Mosque.

 

So how did he become radicalized? He was the perfect age to be recruited but his financial situation wasn’t typical. By all accounts, he had a good job. So, how did Farook become radicalized? We know he travelled to Saudi Arabia twice, once in 2013, where he met his terrorist bride and again in 2014 for nine days – for who knows what. He also went to Pakistan. We know they both watched ISISpropaganda videos and reports are that their “digital footprint” was deleted one day prior to the attack. In other words this was NEVER work place violence or what some are calling a hybrid attack.

 

It may have had something to do with his father, yet by some accounts the two were estranged. His father left the U.S. in 2008 and moved to Pakistan for several years, but has since returned. Syed’s wife was Pakistani, or at least travelled here on a Pakistani visa.

 

So Pakistan, at least at first blush may be a common denominator. In that country is an Islamic terror group known as Jamaat-e-Islami ofPakistan and Bangladesh. The Clarion Project http://www.clarionproject.org/category/tags/jamaat-e-islami-0 says they are a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, who as many know, are the originators and number one driver of American jihad.

 

The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Southern California Chapter is in La Mirada, just south of Los Angeles and west of San Bernardino. Farook attended the Islamic center in Riverside, a mere 50 miles from ICNA. I am not saying there is a connection, but it would be very uncommon for the two facilities not to communicate and ICNA has featured and promoted writings by “Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yousef al-Qaradawi that endorse Hamas and teach that Muslims are required to support jihad ‘with money, arms, and men as required until all their land has been liberated from any aggressor who usurps it.’”

 

Among ICNA’s “select book list” are writings by Abu Ala Maududi, the founder of the Pakistani Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami. Could this be a connection? Time will tell, but only if authorities are allowed to do their jobs without political interference.

Liberal idiot Piers Morgan http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3344941/PIERS-MORGAN-treated-mass-shootings-Muslim-terror-attacks-America-new-gun-laws-faster-bullets-destroyed-lives-San-Bernardino.html said that if it does turn out to be Muslim terrorists, which it has, “we can all rest assured that Cruz and other Republican candidates like Ben Carson and Donald Trump will start furiously demanding all sorts of new laws to make sure no Muslim can ever do this again.”

I can’t speak for the other two, but I know Cruz won’t. Cruz fully understands the Constitution and the perils of usurping it for the phony promise of safety. What he may do is insist that we merely concentrate our efforts on tracking those would-be terrorists who exhibit odd behavior and travel to and from areas of known activity – like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Duh!
