BREAKING: TERROR IN CALIFORNIA – New School Shooting Grips the Nation

Police right now are investigating an active shooter incident that has occurred on campus at University of Southern California, Los Angeles. The story is still developing as we speak, but this is what we have learned so far.

From CBS:

Shortly after 10:00 a.m., campus police sent out an alert notifying students and faculty of a possible “active shooter” in Boelter Hall near the School of Engineering building.

Los Angeles police officers have been sent to the 400 block of Hilgard Avenue to investigate the shooting. Authorities remain on a city-wide tactical alert at this time.

According to school officials, two people have sustained injuries. An update on their conditions was not immediately available.

Students have been told to shelter in a secure place.

The entire campus has been placed on lockdown.

According to the Daily Bruin, the shooter has been described as a Caucasian man who stands around 6-feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.
